I was just going to order a teddy bear from the Vermont teddy bear when I noticed that their materials come from China. Definitely false advertising will not be buying from them at all.

Most of the Etsy options (US shop locations, handmade) are personalized with embroidery but not necessarily custom. Woodland Whimsies in Missouri accepts custom orders. It might be tough to get one by Christmas, but you could ask!

The bears are made in the US but use “imported materials”, probably the fur. But the bears are made here.
