While my Made in USA List includes over 600 manufacturers and retailers, I don’t have the ability to try every product! However, the following are a few of my favorite American-made items. For even more favorites, read my previous post: A Few of My Favorite (Made in USA) Things.
These are a Few of My Favorite American-Made Things
- Fisher Space Pen — The Fisher Space Pen is a must-have for any pen or Americana fan. The original Space Pen fits very easily into any small space, so you’ll never be without a pen. Choose from a multitude of designs to fit your needs and style.
A product that works in virtually any condition and is still made by a family-owned company right here in the United States.
- Herbaria Soap — What products can you use every day to help save the environment? Soap!! Soaps from Herbaria are made in St. Louis using only vegan ingredients with no artificial fragrances. Replace wasteful plastic bottles with shampoo bars, shave soap, and even a Sink Side Soap Block. Read more about the Herbaria story in Made in Saint Louis Herbaria Soap.
Fun Fact: Supply of Herbaria’s Brown Windsor Soap ran low in early 2020. But, not because of the pandemic! Erik Larson’s book on Winston Churchill and the Blitz, The Splendid and the Vile, mentioned that Brown Windsor was Churchill’s soap of choice. The New York Post even highlighted the trend in How Winston Churchill became an accidental beauty influencer.
- New Balance USA Collection — New Balance makes some of my favorite sneakers here in America. I’ve owned a few 990s so far. There are even more colorful styles for men!
- Tervis — Tervis plastic (“classic”) tumblers are made right here in America, with all sorts of fun and customizable designs. Great for coffee and tea drinkers, especially when traveling to meetings or conferences. If you want even more sustainability, check out the Recycled collection.
